The West One development occupies a prime location in Sheffield City Centre. We chose our apartments here simply because it is the BEST location, with everything you need close by, yet surprisingly quiet.
Situated in the Devonshire Quarter, with many independent shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs are right on the doorstep. Devonshire Green itself offers beautiful green space, where people often gather for BBQs in the summer, and is also home to the annual TramLines music festival and other events. The area is buzzing with life and very safe, even at nightime, yet the apartments offer peaceful living space.
There are cafes and restaurants in the West One Plaza itself. A Tesco Metro supermarket is just 3 minutes walk away on West Street, where there are also many more shops, cafes, bars & restaurants. Of course all the shops in the city centre are close by for anything you need. If you fancy even more shopping, the Meadowhall Centre is one of the biggest indoor malls in the UK and can be reached by tram or bus. Even the more mundane things are convenient, with hairdressers, medical centre & dentist close by.
There's lots for culture vultures too, with art galleries, theatres, museums, independent cinemas, street food, festivals, and more. Sheffield is a cosmopolitan city with lots of food and culture from around the world. Living at West One offers the best location to enjoy everthing that Sheffield has to offer.
Many Sheffield University buildings are just a few minutes walk away, and we welcome students as tenants - especially post graduates who are looking for good quality accommodation. Sheffield Hallam University and Hallamshire Hospital are also within easy walking distance - check the map for details.
Transport links are easy too, with buses and trams just outside, and the main train station in the city centre. It is really not essential to have a car, but if you do then we can usually arrange car parking at extra cost. Bicycle storage is available in the secure basement car park.
Sheffield is known as the 'Outdoor City' and is unique in having the beautiful Peak District National Park just 3 miles from the city centre. Sheffield also has world class sporting facilites, which host international events as well as being open to the public.
